Cardboard Pavilion

This outdoor pavilion is made entirely of 409 pieces of cardboard, designed by CAAD software and cut by a computer controlled saw. While this pavilion doesn’t display poems, the construction is remarkable.

The semi-spherical pavilion was designed by ETH Zurich students to demonstrate the power of CAAD and computer controlled technology. It’s made from biodegradeable paper pulp, and weatherproofed with shrink packaging.
